Embedded Software Engineer – Automotive

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our automotive embedded software team. You will develop embedded software for in-vehicle communication protocols, ensuring seamless audio control integration within automotive networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze customer requirements in early development stages.
• Design, implement, and debug embedded software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (core development, QA, etc.).
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with product definitions.
• Analyze technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and global BOSE teams.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle (requirement, design, implementation, testing).

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience with embedded RTOS (Vector OSEK/VDX, AUTOSAR).
• Familiarity with CAN communication software development.
• Proficiency in static/dynamic code analysis.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, protocol loggers, etc.).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Subversion, JIRA).
• Ability to read schematics and data sheets for peripheral components.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
