Clinical Education Specialist

Position Title: Clinical Education Specialist

OverallResponsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Education Specialist (CES) is to support our initiatives within to provide clinicians (primarily surgeons and surgical residents) with seminars and hands-on training opportunities that meet their educational needs and that align with the focus of Applied Medical. Specifically, the CES coordinates all aspects of the hands-on and virtual training programs that we support in areas such as: trans anal surgery, vNOTES, HALS, single-incision surgery, and basic laparoscopic skills. The CES provides support during cadaveric, and simulation courses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　　・Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS) per training.　　　　　　　　　　　　　

　　　・Read, write, speak and communicate effectively with other team members and comprehend work and safety instructions.

　　　・Understand and comply with safety rules and Company policies.

　　　・Proven experience in facilitating events and building networks.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize the training needs of our customers and support the development and implementation of appropriate training strategies/plans.
• Build relationships with surgeons and societies that Applied Medical Japan can partner with to deliver high-qualitytraining.
• Promote minimally invasive surgeries and safe implementation of the surgeries to the market through webinars and workshops.
• As a member of the APAC team, collaborate with other country teams and support event activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Preferred knowledge of medical device/medical industry but not required.
• Preferred progress management skill but not required.
• Availability to frequently travel (e.g., Average of 3-4 days a week), including some weekends and national holidays.

Education and/or Formal Training:　Bachelor degree equivalent requirement

Experience:　Three or more years of experience in a similar or related role of organizing events, medical device sales, etc.

Material and Equipment Used:

Strong follow-up skills;Proficiency in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

Working Environment:　Basically office

• 試用期間：3ヶ月
  但し、会社が必要と認めたときは試用期間を3ヵ月を限度として延長することがある。また特別な事情があるときは、これを短縮又は免除することもある。
