Manufacturing Engineer specialist

Job Description Summary

• Under general supervision, plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
• May improve production methods, determine manufacturing capacity, and set up production schedules.
• Provides support in the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.
• May assist in time and cost estimates. May assign work to drafters and technicians, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as required.

• Candidate must have Aerospace industry experience in production engineering and manufacturing industry
• Candidate should have experience in special processes like Thermal spray, Shot peening etc.
• Prefers to have UG NX CAD experience to create manufacturing process plans
• Candidate should be agile and quickly adapt to other duties as required and requested by the Manager, management and customer
• Co-ordinate with respective team and validate the manufacturing process plans and inspection sheets.
• Native Japanese level & prefer to have English language knowledge
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering with 5 - 6 years of Special processes experience
• Read and understand the Aerospace components Engineering and Stage drawings.
• Understand all GD&T symbols and should be able to apply for manufacturing process and their applications.
