SAP MM Consultant / SME - (JLPT N1 & N2 Level)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the deliverables of functional team to meet engagement objectives and budget.

• Be a hands-on application expert and prepare / review project deliverables (e.g. benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML), business process design document, to-be functional design, baseline configurations (IMG), process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios, user acceptance tests, business process procedures) to ensure they meet project objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations.
• Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture.
• Estimate total effort for the application team within the area of expertise.
• Should have a good experience in Configuration of Org structure, Master data, Purchasing, Pricing, Account Determination, PR/PO Release strategy process, Outputs & Forms, Inventory Management, Logistic Invoice Verification and Physical Inventory areas.
• Must be experienced in designing and deploying Special Procurement scenarios like Subcontracting, Stock Transport Orders, and Consignment process. Strong Integration knowledge with other SAP Areas like SD and FI. Should have worked on designing Interfaces with SAP / Non-SAP systems.
• Understanding of warehouse business process. Independently facilitate workshop to collect and map business requirements and processes. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. Act as a liaison between the client business functions and the technical team. Mentor and guide junior team members.

Skills and Experience

• Over 5+ years of SAP experience as an SAP implementation consultant in the SAP MM added advantage if WM/EWM module.
• 2 years of SAP S/4HANA experience and atleast 1 end to end implementation experience.
• Must have experience of work on a Japanese project, should be very familiar with the Japanese culture and should be able to work  with Japanese Colleagues and clients as one team.
• Must be Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, reading & writing) being able to communicate well with Japanese customer (N1or N2 certified)

• Must know processes and configurations in Procurement, Logistics, Deliveries, Inventory Management   and its integration with SAP FICO and SAP SD
• Knowledge and experience with SAP EWM / SAP WM will be preferred.
• Must have experience with SAP S/4HANA System Conversion
• Business and IT experience with experience in implementing and operating SAP applications.
• Thorough understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the ability to research & apply business best practices.
• Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with senior executives.
• Experience and knowledge of ASAP & Activate Methodologies.
