Finance Manager / Accounting Manager

My client, a highly coveted luxury fashion brand from America, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role with a highly competitive salary package.

The Finance Manager will provide strategic partnership for Japan's retail business and be responsible overall for finance and accounting while ensuring compliance to applicable policies and procedures.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage Monthly/Yearly closing on SAP Business One
• Cooperate with HQ and group companies for IC transactions and SOX controls
• Manage cash flow
• Create budget and provide analysis for regular reporting as well as any ad-hoc projects
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as tax consultant
• Provide strong partnership to County Manager and supervise local finance team (1-2 staffs)
• Ad-hoc support to retail stores and corporate members such as setup for store opening, global compliance project etc.
• Ensure that the controls defined in the ICFR framework are executed and acknowledge the Control owner responsibilities summarized as follows: a) Understand the processes, associated risks, and purpose of controls performed b) Formalize the documentation related to control execution according to the required level of accuracy with reference to his/her responsibility scope c) Retain supporting evidence every time a control is performed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with similar responsibilities.
• Managed a small team (1~2 staffs)
• Experience in fashion, and/or retail industry is a must, luxury industry would be a plus
• A great team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexible mindset
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of SAP
• Fluent in Japanese, business level in English
• Knowledge of the Sox Act fundamental and of the Zegna ICFR Framework
