知識・技術面での支援を通じ、立ち上がりから承認までOE開発をリードする。また将来のOE開発の戦略を策定する。

[Position Title]
Head OEM development 

【Main Purpose of Job (Why job exists/what it must achieve)】

 Lead OE development activity from front to successful approvals
 Provide knowledge / skill based support to team for efficient and effective working
 Coordinate will support functions for seamless CFT working
 Build strategy for future OE development and trigger actions
 Manage OE team functionally and administratively

【Main Responsibilities / Job Summary】

1.   Understand the needs of individual OEMs and create communication strategy
2.   Understand OE projects and create development plan with resource planning
3.   Estimate yearly job load and resource budgeting
4.   Ensure effective communication with OEM for both direct and indirect communication
5.   Drive image building activities at OEM end to improve brand value
6.   Monitor and guide OE team thru development process till successful OE approval with optimal          resource utilization
7.   Drive OE contacts for effective OE coordination
8.   Monitor and control project time line and cost
9.   Interact with OEM to build confidence on technological capability and create priority partnership
10. Gather OE intelligence and trigger action points for Marketing , Customer service and                    Institutional business.
11. Monitor OEM trend and trigger future technology development needs with Pre development            team
12. Work closely with Design , Material , Simulation and Testing teams and ensure effective                  coordination.
13. Interact with Institutional business team for OE strategy and future planning and ensure z              preparedness
14. Track competitor intelligence and propose counter actions
15. Coordinate with Europe OE team for effective working on global OE projects

Knowledge(Technical / Functional)

a. Understanding of vehicle performance - tyre characteristics – tyre design relation 

b. Understanding OE development process and global systems 

c. Understanding of vehicle level tyre evaluation

Skills: Desirable

• Hands on understanding of tyre design
• Tyre evaluation on vehicle 
• Communication and presentation
• CFT working with customer and supplier

Qualifications.  
Engineering graduate / Post Graduate  with management 

Experience: Desirable 
15+ years working with Global organization in tyre / automobile sector in Engineering / Technology function 
5+ years Specific exposure of joint development projects as a lead .
