POSITION:            SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR                     

BUSINESS:           MANUFACTURING - FMCG

LOCATION:           TUNGKRU

SALARY:                150,000 – 200,000 THB

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership: 

• Act as a strategic partner to business units, aligning supply chain strategies with overall business goals. 

• Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement improvements that reduce costs and enhance service levels. 

1. On-Time Performance (OTP) Management: 

• Monitor and improve OTP metrics, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any delays or bottlenecks through corrective actions. 

• Work closely with production and logistics teams to optimize delivery processes and meet OTP targets. 

1. Capacity & Resource Planning: 

• Oversee capacity planning across locations to ensure efficient resource utilization and manage production schedules. 

• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and manage crises affecting production and delivery. 

1. Risk Management: 

• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruption from external factors. 

• Lead crisis management efforts to swiftly address unforeseen challenges in supply chain operations. 

1. End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization: 

• Manage the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to final delivery, driving continuous process improvements and cost efficiency. 

• Enhance vendor relationships and ensure timely material flow and supply chain execution. 

1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: 

• Define and track KPIs (e.g., OTP, capacity utilization) to monitor supply chain performance. 

• Provide data-driven insights to senior management for ongoing strategy refinement.

1. Sustainability Initiatives: 

• Promote sustainable supply chain practices, aligning operations with company sustainability goals and environmental standards. 

1. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: 

• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations. 

• Negotiate contracts and foster long-term partnerships that support business objectives. 

1. Continuous Improvement: 

• Lead initiatives for continuous process improvements and innovation, exploring new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and agility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). 

• 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of leadership and strategy execution. 

• Strong analytical skills with expertise in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.). 

• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder projects, particularly in a manufacturing or similar industry (garment sector experience is a plus). 

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) and supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP). 

• Bilingual proficiency in Thai and English (verbal and written) is essential.
