Description

• Make sure to run daily logistics operations going smoothly co-operating with other related departments (Sales, Sales Ops, Supply Planning, Quality Control, etc.)
• Check inventory is controlled properly at warehouse and coordinate auditing with internal and external auditors
• Execute company Logistics Strategy - Promotion of various projects management (e.g. new warehouse launch, new product introduction and forwarding partner changes)
• Manage import logistics compliance including the Japan custom regulation co-working with forwarding agents
• Act as the main liaison with forwarding agents to build a relationship to achieve company Logistics Strategy Goals
• Drive logistics cost reduction projects (Kaizen Activity) through setting and managing KPI

A successful Senior Logistics Specialist should have:

• More than 3 years experience in supply chain management which includes 3PL management, Import/export logistics, logistics efficiency improvement, inventory control, sales related experiences a plus
• Experience in logistics projects such as forwarder replacement, warehouse relocation, WMS implementation, and logistics network optimization is highly valued
• Project management skills with various parties is recommended
• Prior experience with Oracle or similar ERP system project experiences a plus
• Self-starter, results driven and team player with a 'can do' attitude, capable of working with minimal supervision
• Some Travel Required in domestic and international on a case-by-case basis
