Our client is a leading international insurance group with a strong footprint in Japan. Their Operational Risk team plays a key role in safeguarding the firm's control environment, ensuring incident transparency, and driving enterprise-wide process improvements.

Description

• Manage operational incident lifecycle, including impact analysis and root cause assessments
• Coordinate response, reporting, and FSA communication for personal information breaches
• Drive improvements through trend analytics and system/process upgrades
• Support risk governance by assessing controls, facilitating ORM trainings, and tracking action plans
• Lead cross-functional coordination for policy alignment and digital risk tool implementation (iRisk, Power BI, etc.)
• Continuously improve risk frameworks (ECF) in line with NN Group and FSA requirements

• Experience in Operational Risk, Audit, or Internal Control functions
• Strong bilingual communication (Japanese & English)
• Skilled in cross-team facilitation and collaborative coordination
• Proactive, growth-oriented attitude with the ability to multi-task
• Power BI or data analysis/reporting experience preferred
• Familiarity with financial services or insurance environments is a plus
