Description

• Own credit decisions across corporate, FI, and structured lending portfolios.
• Review proposals, structure transactions, and guide documentation standards.
• Conduct due diligence and assess risk exposures in line with risk appetite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and infrastructure functions.
• Participate in internal/external audits and help remediate audit findings.
• Contribute to local risk governance and improvement of CRM processes.
• Mentor junior team members and help cultivate a strong risk culture.

• Experience in credit risk, ideally in investment banking.
• Deep understanding of leveraged lending and real estate credit risk.
• Strong knowledge of lending, derivatives, and structured finance.
• Proven ability to assess complex credit structures and recommend solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional fluency.
• Native-level Japanese and fluent English for documentation and discussions.
• Experience working with risk documentation and credit risk governance.
