Local Project Engineer 【試験装置を顧客に納品するまでのプロジェクトマネジメント】

＜ Local Project Engineer ＞
　To manage all aspects of assigned projects from point of sale to customer acceptance in an effective manner to maximize corporate profits, technical reputation and position of MTS within the marketplace (generally including substantial custom mechanical, electrical and software designs).
Responsible for all parameters of project performance, schedule, budget, technical specifications and customer satisfaction.

Major Areas of Accountability:

1. Serves as the overall project manager and is responsible for all parameters of project performance (cost, technical performance, schedule, and customer satisfaction) and all the phases from pre-sales support, order confirmation, project definition, manufacturing process to project closure.
    
2. Establishes reliable sold-cost estimate.
    
3. Plans, coordinates, and effectively monitors and controls project progress. Directs the system checkout and performance testing and performance measures.
    
4. Create and deliver formal technical presentations to both external customers and internal management related to job function, program status, or future technical direction.
    
5. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable MTS product line.
    
6. Proposes and manages R&D programs where applicable. (apply to senior levels)
    
7. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Scope of Work
Independent, order profile includes ETO and custom content, mentors and trains other PE's, provides sales/marketing support, proven record dealing with difficult customers, may participate in developing teams’ yearly business plan.

Job Profile Summary
Manages all aspects of engineering projects, from start to finish, so that they are completed on time and within budget. Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimise delays. Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project. This may include preparing engineering designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Liaise with other operational areas in the organisation (e.g., engineering, drafting, technical) to secure specialised resources and contributions for the project.  Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones.

Education & Experience

• 5 years of professional engineering experience.

General Qualifications:

• BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, domestic and international.
