Position Purpose / 職務の目的
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to manage and control financial information, supporting the achievement of the company’s financial goals and business development. This role will involve producing accurate financial data, reporting on a timely basis, and performing gap analyses between financial estimations, actual results, and forecasts. The FP&A Manager will actively communicate with key stakeholders and lead crucial financial processes including IFRS closing, budgeting, medium-term planning, and monitoring.
Direct Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, including closing, budget preparation, and updates.
Monitor and analyze company overhead expenditures and provide cost-benefit analysis.
Forecast accurate financial overheads to align with business plans, new product launches, and new investments.
Support the efficient and timely execution of capital injection and financial reporting.
Produce any financial reports required by the Head Office, Regional Office, and Japan management.
Implement and maintain procedures and guidelines for monitoring and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead and organize IFRS closing, budgeting exercises, and medium-term planning (MTP) processes across functions and departments.
Validate business plans, IT investments, and financial projections from a financial cost perspective.
Train and mentor team members through on-the-job training (OJT) and documentation, ensuring a strong backup system and smooth transitions.
Contributing Responsibilities:
Support management and other departments in cost control and financial analysis.
Actively participate in the implementation of the ongoing Medium-Term Plan.

Business Knowledge / 求められるビジネス知識
Fundamental understanding of the insurance business in Japan.
Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly protection insurance, is a plus.
Cross-functional expertise across various insurance business lines is beneficial.
Technical Experience / Competencies / 求められる技術的経験・コンピテンシー
Background in financial control or accounting.
Expertise in financial management within the insurance industry.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Qualifications / 必要な資格
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong business communication skills in both English and Japanese (written and spoken).
