Finance Officer 財務担当者 ~ 財務責任者

Upon hiring, you will be assigned multiple responsibilities based on your interests and experience. (Note: Accounting-related duties such as financial closing are handled by a separate team.)

Finance Functions:

• Fundraising activities
• Budget planning and management (including overseas subsidiaries)
• Business planning and execution
• Budget vs. actual performance management
• Establishing internal control systems

Investor Relations (IR) Functions:

• Regulatory disclosure and financial reporting
• Quarterly earnings announcements
• Investor relations (individual and institutional investors)
• Shareholder meeting management

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience (preferably in finance-related roles)

• Native-level Japanese proficiency (necessary for handling financial IR in Japan)

• Conversational-level English (business-level preferred but not required)

• Strong resilience in challenging situations

• Willingness to adapt to new environments and expand your skillset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an evolving landscape

• Logical thinking and the ability to explain complex matters clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Business-level English proficiency

• Experience in large-scale fundraising (debt or equity)

• Financial modeling skills (ability to build integrated PL, BS, and CF models from scratch)

• IR strategy development and execution experience

• Budget and performance management, including overseas subsidiaries

• IR experience in a listed company (financial disclosures, quarterly earnings, etc.)

• Shareholder meeting planning and management

• Investor pitch book creation

• Relevant certifications (CFA, USCPA, CPA, MBA, Securities Analyst, SME Consultant, etc.)
