Job Description
Features:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spark programs/implementations in Scala/Java. Understanding of functional programming in Scala.
- Being aware of performance tuning of Spark code would be a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS and YARN clusters.
- Basic LINUX command, Putty and WinSCP skills.
- Knowledge of Gradle based builds, IntelliJ IDE, RapidSQL, GITLab, Confluence etc.
- Ability to adopt Agile methodologies and use JIRA tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Good to have:
- Technical skills in Hadoop, HDFS, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Python scripting
Japanese: Basic level Japanese (not required), business level English
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on work experience in writing and implementing Spark program/job in Scala/Java from scratch. Should be aware about functional programming aspects in scala.
It is a plus if aware about performance tuning in Spark code.
Should have basic awareness about Hadoop, HDFS & YARN cluster.
Should have skills in basic LINUX commands, Putty, WinSCP
