Job Description

Company and Job Overview

Company is a optical products manufacturer. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to support their customers in Asia.

 

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers either on-site or remotely.

Troubleshoot and repair systems at customer site.

Install new test systems and software upgrades.

Work on projects such as creating manuals/SOPs etc.

Job Requirements

A Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related qualifications.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Words.

Work experience in a customer support environment.

Work experience in a semiconductor industry for more than 1 year.

Knowledge in laser, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, other instruments.

We are looking for someone who is:

A team player.

Has strong interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication skills.

Able to travel overseas frequently and on short notice.

Flexible to work overtime or on selected weekends and public holidays, if required.

Self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge needed for the job.
