Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QC Manager to join our client. As for this QC Manager, you will play an important role overseeing the development, testing, and production processes of electrical contact materials, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing the quality control procedures and driving improvements in their manufacturing processes to maintain and enhance product excellence.
Location to work: Hicom, Shah Alam
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Quality Control (QC) department, ensuring product quality standards are met throughout the production process
- Lead quality control inspections, product testing, and validation procedures for electrical contact materials
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and production efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, documentation, and reports.
- Train and mentor QC staff, promoting a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Analyze root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions to improve production processes.
- Bachelor's in Quality Management or Electrical Engineering or related studies in Manufacturing processes
- Proven management experience in a factory setting, preferably in the manufacturing of electrical components or similar industries.
- Experience in driving lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices (Six Sigma Certification – Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Fluency in English, Malay and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
- Experience in automotive sector and possess IATF 16949 certification will be added advantage
- Knowledge of Testing and Inspection used in the quality control of electrical components
