A multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking a Senior Manager Accounting. The selected candidate will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, tax filings, and internal controls while driving process improvements. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local accounting regulations
• Oversee statutory accounts, tax filings, and audits
• Act as a key contact for internal and external auditors
• Lead financial system enhancements, including ERP implementation
• Provide cash flow forecasts and support treasury, procurement, and tax functions
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 8 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in multinational companies and financial compliance
• Knowledge of Oracle, SAP S4/Hana, or equivalent ERP systems
• Proficient in complex Excel spreadsheets and database structures
• Possess a valid CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred
• Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
