Description
- Leading and overseeing the Accounting & Finance department
- Creating and implementing monthly, quarterly, semiannual and full financial statements
- Managing cash flow and undertaking tax-related tasks
- Responding to internal and external audits
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Corresponding with HQ regarding financial matters
- Communicating with different stakeholders to improve business performance
- Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations
- Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making processes

Required Skills
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- An educational background in Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Japanese for effective communication in Japan and oversea HQ
- Strong understanding of financial statements, tax-related tasks, and cash flow management
- Experience in responding to internal and external audits
- Capability to prepare budgets and forecasts and to create P&Ls.
- Ability to effectively correspond with oversea HQ and other departments
