Job Description
Our client is looking for a dedicated experienced Finance Manager, who can support the creation of all structures in the new created Finance team. The successful candidate will have a background in accounting and finance within the FMCG/Retail or similar industry, and will be proficient in both English and Japanese.

Description
- Lead the finance team and oversee all financial aspects of the company
- Conduct financial planning & analysis (FP&A), like budget planning and forecasting vs. actuals.
- Ensure compliance to local GAAP standards
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements
- Drive the consolidation for audit process
- Work closely with the leadership team inside Japan and the oversea HQ to develop financial strategies
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders in English and Japanese
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and overall financial performance

Required Skills
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Japanese
- Experience in the FMCG/Retail or similar industry highly appreciated, but not must have
- Proven leadership skills
- Familiarity with J-GAAP standards and financial consolidation for audit
- Experience in creating monthly and annual financial statements
