Company and Job Overview

Company is a industrial leading equipment manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Research and Test Engineer. This role will work under the Senior Researcher on a collaborative research project with a university in Singapore. In this project, the Research Engineer will be involved in the development of a robotics-related platform and will also conduct tests by bringing the robot to construction sites and handling on-site debugging.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the construction site teams to coordinate and execute on-site testing of robots in real-world construction environments.

• Assisting the assessment of the compatibility of construction robots with robotics-related platforms to ensure smooth integration and operational efficiency.

• Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of robots during field tests.

• Documenting findings and contributing to project reports and presentations.

• Assisting in the planning and execution of robotics-related events, including support for coordination, logistics, and on-site management.

• Supporting for the formulation of strategies for the commercialization of research results and business initiatives in the field of construction robotics.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction related fields

• 2-5 years of work experience on construction site or construction related field

• Experience in the maintenance of machinery, robots, or heavy equipment.

• Project planning and coordination experience

• Understanding of maintenance requirements of machinery, robots, or heavy equipment.

• Speaks fluent English, Chinese preferred.
