Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized. This role requires extensive knowledge in Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the production facility, including SMT processes, Assembly process and automotive manufacturing.

• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth production processes.

• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and operational metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Strong knowledge of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and Assembly processes.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.

• Knowledge of automotive production systems such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and Total Quality Management (TQM).

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
