To further enhance security and stability, we are hiring our first dedicated Security Engineer in our internal digital division!

Role Overview

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting LiNKX’s systems, data, and users. You’ll design and implement modern security policies, monitor threats, conduct risk assessments, and respond to incidents with precision. Collaborating across teams, you will strengthen security, compliance, and resilience in all our projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the CTO, Corporate IT, and other teams to lead the following tasks:

1. Define & Enforce Security Policies

• Develop and implement security and privacy frameworks (e.g. ISMS/ISO 27001).
• Ensure company-wide compliance with security and privacy regulations.

2. Deploy & Manage Security Solutions

• Implement and maintain IAM, UEM, VPN, XDR, SIEM and SOAR to safeguard our systems.
• Automate security processes to enhance efficiency and threat detection.

3. Proactive Threat Monitoring & Risk Management

• Continuously monitor infrastructure, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities.
• Perform risk assessments and proactively mitigate threats.

4. Security Incident Response & Audits

• Investigate and respond to security incidents with speed and precision.
• Conduct audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

5. Strengthen Security Culture & Awareness

• Promote Shift-Left Security and Zero Trust principles across teams.
• Educate developers on secure coding and data protection best practices.

Must-Have:

✔ 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or security engineering.
✔ Business-level English & Japanese. (JLPT N2 level or above) 
✔ Expertise in software, cloud, and network security.
✔ Hands-on experience with security automation & monitoring tools.
✔ Strong incident response and risk mitigation skills.
✔ Experience in multinational teams.

Nice-to-Have:

✔ Experience in the financial or fintech industry.
✔ Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS/GCP/Azure Security, etc.).
✔ Experience in developing security & privacy programs.
