PR/109076 | Section Chief- Maintenance

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functioning.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Respond to equipment failures and breakages promptly. Identify issues, make necessary repairs, and restore equipment to operational status as quickly as possible.

• Equipment Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and suggest/implement improvements for increased reliability and efficiency.

• Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts inventory, and equipment status. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Collaboration & Coordination: Work with production teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely repairs, upgrades, and the proper operation of equipment.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintain safe working conditions, and assist in audits and inspections.

• Technical Support & Guidance: Provide technical support and advice to other departments, assisting with machine setups or technical challenges.

• Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response protocols for critical breakdowns or safety incidents.

• Continuous Improvement: Assist with the identification of root causes of equipment failure and work on process improvements to minimize reoccurrence.
