Job Description
- System Integration: Integrate automated systems with existing machinery, software, and IT infrastructure.
- Process Optimization: Analyse current processes, identify opportunities for automation, and implement solutions to optimize performance, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot issues with automated systems and provide technical support to minimize downtime.
- Programming & Software Development: Write and test code for automation systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and other automation platforms.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation of automation systems, including technical specifications, troubleshooting guides, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaboration: Work with other internal stakeholder to ensure seamless automation system integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, automation technologies, and best practices to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Min 2-3 years relevant experience in Mechatronics or PLCs programming and Mechanical / Electrical Engineering related disciplines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Knowledge in programming languages - Siemens PLC Step 7, TIA Portal, WinCC, Omron PLC
- Familiar with inverter (Lenze, SEW, KEB, Schneider)
- Knowledgeable in schematic electrical diagram, Controls Engineering techniques and practices.
- Excellent understanding of Computer Applications and Microsoft Office.
- This role is based in Sg Petani
