Job Description
A well known global manufacturing company that sells Industrial product, Electronic Components, Industrial Components/Devices and Factory Automation Equipment across the world. With presence in 90 locations worldwide, our client is looking for experienced IT MANAGER to join their team in KUALA LUMPUR.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the planning, deployment, and administration of all critical IT infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, and networks.
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams, such as cybersecurity and application development, to guarantee that infrastructure can accommodate new technologies and business initiatives.
- Overseeing the daily operational and project responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure team.
- Be the primary point of contact for escalation for business issues and managing internal and external communications.
- Supporting the administration of relationships with external organizations and suppliers.
- Lead and managing the IT Infrastructure division team and working closely with the other 2 teams (Application team & SAP HANA team)
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration, with a particular emphasis on IT compliance, cybersecurity, and network and server management.
- Previous experience in the IT sector as a leader of an operations management team.
- Proven technical proficiency and knowledge of information technology (IT) systems, hardware, and software
- Strong communication skills (Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage)
- Willing to travel for Annual Group HQ Meetings twice a year to either Korea, Japan or Singapore
