Job Description

SOFTWARE ENGINEER
An established MNC in wafer packaging industry, seeking talented individuals with an innovative mindset to join their Engineering team. You will be a key part of revolutionary in the advanced packaging equipment for automated and high precision manufacturing industries.
 
 
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
  • Programming machine via using PLC like Beckhoff, Siemens, and Omron. PC based program machine via using C#
  • Design, develop, and implement PLC systems and HMI interfaces for manufacturing automation.
  • Develop software designs that are scalable, portable and efficient.
  • Perform hardware/software integration and testing.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of robot simulations to optimize automated operations in manufacturing and production settings.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of PLC systems, robots, and electrical components both in-house and on-site to ensure proper functionality.
  • Develop and implement C# applications and SQL database interactions.
  • Participate in key meetings related to machine layout, process flow, and electrical components to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as user manuals and flowcharts to support system implementation and maintenance.
  • Code and maintain software templates for Beckhoff PLC and Omron PLC, including libraries for Cylinder Control, Motor Control, Machine Control, TCP/IP functions, and Serial Communication functions.
  • Interacting with customers to provide technical support, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, motion control, and HMI development.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and debugging automation systems.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a project basis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
