Description

• Manage a portfolio of corporate, financial institutions, and real estate counterparties.
• Review credit proposals, write reports, and recommend or approve transactions.
• Assess risk for commercial banking facilities and capital market products.
• Support business teams with trade structuring solutions within risk appetite.
• Monitor target markets, conduct due diligence, and ensure portfolio quality.
• Contribute to the development of risk policies and credit documentation standards.
• Engage with internal and external audit inquiries and risk governance initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years of credit risk experience, preferably within investment banking.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives, structured transactions, and leveraged lending.
• Experience in distressed debt, restructuring, and credit documentation.
• Ability to independently manage complex transactions and risk assessment.
• Native-level Japanese to analyze local financial disclosures and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree required; formal credit training or CFA preferred.
