Description

• Lead credit risk assessments for complex transactions, including leveraged lending and acquisition financing.
• Provide independent credit analysis and challenge deal teams to ensure effective structuring.
• Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and risk evaluations on counterparties and transactions.
• Oversee risk management strategies and ensure compliance with credit risk policies.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including global risk teams and regulators.
• Monitor existing credit portfolios, identify key risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to risk governance initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management, leveraged finance, or structured transactions.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing complex credit risk profiles and financial structures.
• Experience in sponsor deals, acquisition financing, and syndicated lending.
• Proficiency in credit documentation and risk management strategies.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CFA, FRM, or an advanced degree in finance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in credit risk management.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in leveraged finance and credit risk regulations.
