We are seeking an Insurance Risk professional for a vital role in the Enterprise Risk Department of this global insurance firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Insurance operation by managing and mitigating risks.

Description

• Help lead and manage the company's enterprise risk management efforts, including implementing new regulatory frameworks and supporting related testing and improvements.
• Take charge of updating the Economic Capital Model (ECM) process, making sure everything is accurate and runs smoothly.
• Learn how to manage and update the GIRO model twice a year.
• Create processes and reports for stress testing, and assist in running tests for specific risks like insurance, natural disasters, and investments.
• Work with a database engineer to automate outputs from the internal risk model.
• Analyze results from risk models to ensure they are accurate and reliable.
• Keep all documentation related to the internal model up-to-date and well-maintained.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for senior leadership and board meetings.
• Help write parts of the company's risk and solvency report for regulatory purposes.
• Collaborate with international colleagues across different teams and offices.

A successful Insurance Risk professional should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science
• Knowledge of Insurance industry regulations and guidelines
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
• Skilled in business IT tools, including Microsoft Office, VBA, R, and SQL.
