■JOB PURPOSE:
Develops short-term (0-6 months) Supply Planning plan, including detailed scheduling for Finished Goods, Master Production Schedule and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)/Deployment for relevant assets in the regional network. Contributes to the Supply Reviews and to the S&OE process. Is accountable for stock levels across network, incl. replenishment.
■Role:
• Reporting to the Supply Planning Head Asia, the Operational Supply Planning Manager will support Henkel Supply Planning Agenda and drives initiatives in the region.
• Translates the mid-term production plan into the short-term plan (planned orders to firm orders)
• Develops and reviews the short-term production and scheduling plans by line / technology, considering capacity, utilization and timing Operational Supply Planner is accountable for managing stock transfers until 1st decoupling point, whilst the Replenishment Planner manages from the 1st decoupling point to the entire network
• Monitors daily actuals against weekly production plan and tracking product availability, production schedule adherence, and recommends corrective action for non-adherence
• Identifies short-term FG requirements in the markets and makes a proposal on the allocation based on business priority
• Supports on the inventory analysis by reviewing the inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes
• Maintains select manufacturing parameters (incl. constraints)
• Provides inputs and participates in the S&OE, communicating material availability issues and capacity constraints
• Collaborates with the Plant Production Schedulers to align on scheduling activities
• Collaborates with Purchasing and Material Planning to ensure raw material supports the production schedule
• Identifies and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance
■requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent
• 6-10 years’ experience in the Supply Planning
• Supply Chain Management
• Operational Supply planning/ Production Planning/ Scheduling
• Project management skills
• S&OP / IBP knowledge
• Proven success in operational excellence and continuous improvement in supply planning roles
• Strong communication skills, collaboration & hands on experience
• Data Analytics & BI
• Strong knowledge of system: SAP/ APO/ Kinaxis/ OMP/ o9 or similar
■Other requirements
• Japanese language skills
• English language skills
• Based in Malaysia (KL)
• First 3-6 months frequent travel (training in Japan)
