PR/158513 | Merchandiser (Fashion Retail MNC)

A leading MNC in the fashion retail industry is looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join their team. This role will be based at Petaling Jaya (near MRT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPIs, identifying issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings

• Weekly store visits

• Propose and agree on actions to recover risk and maximise opportunities with the Buyer at category and line level

• Forecasting any sales variance

• Creations of OTB

• Management of commitments by ensuring on-time delivery and rebuy cancellation

• Markdown proposal

• Promotions proposal

• Manage the range plan in Season reflecting any changes

• With the buyer, review previous season and capture the lessons learned and create the strategy for the department going forward

• Plan the pre-scheduling to meet the range plan – in conjunction with Assistant Merchandisers

• Overview the ratios for all buys in conjunction with Assistant Merchandiser

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the retail fashion industry as a Merchandiser

• Analytical mindset

• Numbers driven

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Regional exposure in merchandising/buying will be an added advantage
