Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, offers comprehensive services across various sectors in Asian countries. They are currently seeking Network Engineer candidates to join their team, contributing to the company's success and growth.
Location: Bangkok (100% Onsite, BTS Accessible)
Responsibilities:
Establish and enforce IT network, infrastructure, and security protocols in alignment with global standards.
Set up, configure, and maintain network hardware, including firewalls, IPS, WAF, routers, switches, and other devices.
Utilize network monitoring tools to review logs, pinpoint performance issues, and address alerts.
Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to network connectivity, performance, and security; escalate complex problems as needed.
Assist with user authorization reviews and ensure compliance with security policies.
Provide daily operational support for IT security and network functions.
Engage in crisis management during service outages by initiating conference calls and collaborating with cross-functional teams to restore services promptly.
Participate in IT projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain detailed network diagrams and technical documentation.
Perform network assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Manage ad-hoc IT setups and configurations as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a solid grasp of networking principles and protocols.
Practical experience with TCP/IP, LAN, and various network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Proficiency with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methods.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends, to provide 24/7 support.
