This role involves the strategic planning and execution of inventory management for a leading FMCG company. The Inventory Planning Assistant Manager will work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage inventory forecasting models
  • Collaborate with procurement & supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply issues in a timely manner
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure product availability
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to anticipate demand trends
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess stock and wastage
  • Oversee inventory audits to ensure accuracy
  • Produce regular reports on inventory status and performance
