Responsibilities:

• Manage import shipment arrangements and confirm arrival dates with shipping companies
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure proper documentation for cargo release
• Allocate containers according to production plans to maximise transportation efficiency
• Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate data in the system, and provide weekly stock reports
• Oversee warehouse conditions to ensure products meet quality standards
• Prepare sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy
• Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and maintain SAP inventory accuracy
• Liaise with distributors and local business units to provide relevant updates on shipments
• Monitor the bonded warehouse and repacking processes to meet company guidelines

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of inventory controls, warehouse and distribution networks, customs documentation and customs clearance process
• Background in finance and purchase order management, handling claims for shipment damages
• Understanding of Supply Chain and logistics and execution (freight shipments, FEFO, Incoterms, demand and supply planning)
• Knowledge of warehouse standards to maintain product quality
• Proficiency in using SAP for stock reporting and data maintenance, knowledge of SD and MM modules
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills
• Fluent level English and Japanese; Korean is a plus
