Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Summary:
The MEP Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. This includes ensuring project costs are accurately estimated, monitored, and controlled to meet budgetary and quality standards while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and related systems.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate cost estimation.
Assist in preparing tender and procurement documents for MEP works.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain records of all MEP-related documentation, including BOQs, contracts, and cost reports.
Prepare detailed cost analysis and project performance reports for management review.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Experience: 4-6 years of experience as an MEP QS in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Office 365)
Strong understanding of MEP systems, contracts, and tendering procedures
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
Key Deliverables:
Accurate BOQs and cost estimates for MEP works.
Periodic cost and performance reports.
Timely resolution of contractual and cost-related disputes.
