PR/094636 | Accounting Manager

Our client is a well-known retail chain with presence in more than 20 countries. Currently, the team is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team. This role will lead a small team and reports to General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely management reporting 

• Prepare detailed expense breakdowns with accompanying commentaries for management review.

• Oversee the costing breakdown for the warehouse and ensure accuracy.

• Review and verify wholesales invoices and check GTO reports.

• Perform payment checks to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Monitor and report on actual cash flow versus forecasted cash flow.

• Conduct inventory costing checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Verify AP invoices and ensure timely processing.

• Perform stock take adjustments based on inventory counts.

• Ensure timely submission of GST and Corporate Income Tax

• Perform check on slow-moving stocks and prepare findings report. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business or Chartered Accountant

• At least 8-10 years working experience in relevant capacity

• Experience in product costing is a must

• Candidates comes from retail industry highly preferred

• Willing to work at West region

• Excellent communication skill and stakeholder management
