The Manager of Data Squad is in charge of understanding data needs for the business area he/she is responsible for, and ensuring the delivery of the Data Solutions, which includes Dashboards, Analysis, development of AI models, and implementation of AI Solutions. It also includes the definition of the Long-Term Roadmap for the use of Data by Business (and securing the necessary funds), the development of proper Data Products (Full Datasets ensuring proper access to Data by Business Users), and the development of Data Culture and Data Democratization with the related business.
The role doubles as DBP (Data Business Partner), meaning that the manager will also be the main point of contact for the executive officers responsible for his area, and ensure their education and support in terms of data.
The role is for Finance and Corporate Functions, and will cover all data use cases for these domains, including Finance, HR, IT, Legal and Compliance, Pricing and Risk. Finance is the largest consumer of data and the creation of the Finance Data Product, a key part of the whole Data Mesh, is within the scope of responsibility, as well as all analysis related to profitability.
■Key Accountabilities
Managing the Data Squad:
・The Squad is composed of Product Owners, Data Analysts, Data Scientists. The Squad Manager needs to prioritize the tasks and ensure that the team works in an agile and efficient way.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication Management:
・As Data Business Partner, the person will be directly in charge of discussing with the Excom members in charge of Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance to gather their needs in terms of Data and ensure that they are well planned and answered.
・He/she will also ensure proper communication and development of Data Culture with the users within the business domain.
E2E delivery:
・The Squad Leader is ultimately responsible for the delivery of Data & AI Use Cases to business. He/she will collaborate with the technical data teams for implementation in line with guidelines, but will have the delivery responsibility.
・This includes the various in-depth analysis required from business
People Management:
・Directly manage and provide strategic guidance to the Squad members.
・Establish team goals and Roadmap, in agreement with Business Stakeholders.
・Develop skills and capabilities of team members to meet team goals by providing support and effective use of resources.
・Ensure compliance and culture of cooperation within team to achieve common goals.

Qualifications
