Job Description-
Scheduling: Arranging production steps in order of priority, including start and end times for each task
Routing: Defining the path of the operation from start to end, including the raw materials, resources, quantity, and production location
Dispatching: Putting plans into production by issuing production orders
Inventory control: Ensuring the right amount of supply is available to meet customer demand
Optimizing resources: Scheduling resources to meet production demand and ensuring resources are ready when needed
Increasing productivity: Increasing the productivity of internal resources, such as people, machines, and work centers
Improving customer satisfaction: Ensuring customer satisfaction
Coordinating with other departments: Coordinating with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and purchasing
