Job Description
masterbatch, and dry pigments is looking for a general manager to lead and manage the subsidiary company’s overall operations in China and its representative office in Hong Kong. The role includes strategic oversight of sales, marketing, and business operations in the plastic resin industry.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives
- Lead the Sales & Marketing Department to drive revenue growth and market share in the plastics industry
- Formulate and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and alignment with strategic objectives
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all operations comply with local, regional, and international laws and regulations
Job Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry/ Sales & Marketing or any related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience, preferably in sales and marketing or operations in the Plastic trading industry
- Strong understanding of the plastics industry, including market trends, technologies, and competitive dynamics
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategies while managing complex operations
- Willingness and ability to be stationed in Dongguan, China
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
