Job Description
A leading multinational company in the sports fashion industry is looking for an experienced fashion buyer to join their team.
Main responsibilities of the Senior Buyer role:
Representing the Buying function on Men’s Apparel
Attending all appointments, with involvement in selection and editing of product
Attending product launches and relevant trade shows
Analysis and review of weekly sales with the merchandising department
Negotiation with brands trading terms and conditions, and distribution agreements
Aware of new brands and opportunities to diversify and drive category sales
Budget negotiation and planning within internal teams and external brands
Managing budgets and OTB on in seasons and forward budgets
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fashion buying (apparel)
Experience of handling the buying of multiple brands apparel
Good eye on fashion and knowledge of current and incoming fashion trends
Strong analytical, numerical and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Creative and able to predict future fashion trends
