PR/158205 | Senior Project Manager (Data Center)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

A global data centre provider with strong presence  across 13 countries  are now expanding to develop, construct and operate data centre projects in Kuala Lumpur

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the key person responsible to oversee the entire project lifecycle  for the construction and completion of the Data-Centre new-build and fit-out.

• Deliver project to the highest EHS standards, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and performance standard.

• Lead the projects in achieving zero accident/harm and ensuring compliance with the HSE requirements 

• Offer strategic guidance, experience, and expertise to facilitate the project's success by considering critical factors such as cost, schedule, quality, and on site performance .

• Ensure that each discipline executes their scope of work in strict compliance with the contract documents and project Ready-for-Service dates and expectations 

• Monitor and coordinate the interfaces with statutory authorities, landlords, third parties, and other stakeholders such as Project Approvals and Power Supply Connections.

• Proactively advocate for continuous improvement initiatives, best practices, and excellence.

• Establish and sustain an extensive network of local construction partners, including consultants, contractors, and original equipment manufacturers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in full cycle project management (green and brownfield projects) for both the consultant/contractor and owners perspective (Data Center or Mission Critical Projects experience preferred ) 

• Strong communications skills (English and Malay)
