What You’ll Do

Electrical Design & Development

• Design and analyze electrical circuits using the latest tools and technologies.
• Work on PCB layouts and soldering modifications to refine performance.
• Apply your expertise in communication standards like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and more.
• Validate your designs through hands-on testing and comprehensive test reports.
• Operate advanced equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analyzers.
• Collaborate with clients worldwide to provide technical solutions and resolve issues.
• Support product certifications, including FCC, CE, UKCA, and others.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Participate in global projects and client meetings to address complex technical challenges.
• Create test accessories like cable harnesses and custom JIGs.
• Mentor and train team members to build a culture of continuous learning.
• Proactively improve processes, seeking innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Employment contract type: Starting as a temporary staff contract with the goal of transitioning to a permanent staff contract in the near future.

Client Company: Japanese company focuses on research, design, development, quality evaluation, equipment development, and related work for electronics equipment in general

Work location:　Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

Office hours: 9:00 to 17:45 (45-minute lunch break) Flextime system available

Salary: 2500 yen ~3000 yen per hour (Monthly salary approx. 400~500k yen), depending on skills               and experience

Holidays and Leave

• Full two-day weekend system (Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays)
• 10 days pay leave after 6 months of employment

Working Hours

• 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM (45-minute lunch break)

Selection Process

• In-person interviews are mandatory.
• Skills such as CAD will be assessed during the in-person interview.
• The number of selection stages may be adjusted depending on circumstances.

What We’re Looking For

1. Electrical Circuit Knowledge

• Proficient in understanding and designing electrical circuits.
• Skilled in interpreting and working with block diagrams and schematics

2. PCB Modification Skills

• Capable of modifying PCBs or replacing components using a soldering iron and other appropriate tools.

3. Coordination with Factories and Clients

• Experience in supporting manufacturing activities and ensuring seamless production processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients through meetings or video conferences to resolve technical issues

Requirements

• Industry experience: 3+ years
• Nationality: No restrictions
• English proficiency: Business level or higher (ability to communicate with overseas clients and factories)
• Japanese proficiency: N4 or N5 level (must have a strong motivation to learn and use Japanese moving forward)
