A rapidly growing global shared service company specialized in power inductor manufacturer in Penang Island is seeking for a Senior Internal Auditor to help the business to oversee internal controls and risk management at manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading internal audits, perform analytical reviews of expenses, support and supervise outsourced financial services, manage regional accounting systems, liaise with US headquarters on audits, and represent ethics and CSR policies. This role requires at least 5 years of accounting experience and exposure to internal audit
Job Responsibilities
Review internal controls at various manufacturing sites and collaborate with consultants on risk management and internal control audit templates and programs.
Recommend new measures to management to strengthen the internal control system and conduct surveillance audits at least twice a year at Asia sites.
Lead an internal audit team and work with operations to audit key operating expenses.
Perform analytical reviews of monthly expenses and report on fluctuations and reasonableness to management.
Support outsourced financial accounting services, overseeing their supervision and process control with the Singapore headquarters.
Manage system control and administration of the regional accounting system.
Liaise with the US headquarters on internal audit matters and conduct special audits on specific risk areas as needed.
Serve as the representative for all ethics matters and policies under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Job Requirements
Degree holder with CPA qualification and a background in financial accounting and system implementation.
Independent, with strong systematic and process thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates leadership qualities and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
5 years of accounting experience and exposure to internal audit.
Willingness to travel within the Asia region
