A rapidly growing global shared service company specialized in power inductor manufacturer in Penang Island is seeking for a Senior Accountant to help the business to assist the Singapore team with managing the Vietnam factory’s accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing month-end closings, variance analysis, reconciliations, cashflow forecasts, audits, stock takes, policy reviews, while collaborating with international stakeholders. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, excellent communication and supervisory skills, meticulous attention to detail, willingness to travel overseas.
Job Responsibilities
assist the Singapore team in managing the accounting department of the Vietnam factory,
working closely with internal stakeholders across different countries to gather process-related information, handling month-end closing activities and reporting,
performing variance analysis for financial reporting, reviewing monthly reconciliations and financial schedules, assisting in cash flow forecasting, supporting statutory audits including preparation of audit schedules, supporting yearly stock takes and stock reconciliation, reviewing policies, and improving processes
Job Requirements
University Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
Detail-oriented and meticulous.
Willing to travel overseas
