JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all financial matters within the area of responsibility.
Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and balance sheets according to IFRS/HGB.
Handle all tax returns, including VAT.
Create other declarations like Intrastat.
Collaborate with banks, tax consultants, auditors, and other external contacts.
Manage cash and receivables.
Oversee fixed assets.
Ensure compliance with standards, laws, and internal controls.
Lead a small team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Completed commercial training or B.Sc. in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
Certified accountant qualification.
Several years of accounting experience.
In-depth knowledge of HGB/IFRS.
Proficient with accounting software (preferably AX Dynamics/D365) and MS Office (especially Excel).
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented.
Proactive in addressing problems and improving operations.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
Skilled in conflict resolution and comfortable in an international, cross-functional, dynamic environment.
Fluent in English and German.
