Job Responsibilities
The EDP Development Lead will lead and manage IT system projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards.
Lead IT system projects through all phases, including initiation, requirements gathering, design review, and implementation.
Conduct workshops and meetings with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze processes, and create technical design documents.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as SOPs, project requirements, and user manuals.
Provide technical expertise and advice during system implementation and incident investigations.
Review existing IT platforms, processes, and system performance to identify and implement improvements.
Assess various data sources, perform data mapping, and ensure accurate data integration and extraction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
Support and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.
Job Requirements
A recognized degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (C#, VB, VB.net) and tools/databases (Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft). Knowledge of banking products and accounting is a plus.
Experience in core banking and enterprise application digital transformation.
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in a banking environment.
Good understanding of IT banking applications and systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle requests from business users and IT personnel.
