Company & Job Overview
Oversee all statutory financial management, reporting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and corporate tax compliance for a listed company, its subsidiaries, and associated entities.
Lead the finance team to enhance strategic initiatives, planning, and reporting.
Analyze financial and accounting data, cash flow projections, and budgetary controls.
Implement robust control procedures to enhance accounting and reporting systems.
Monitor the company’s financial performance against budgets and project costs, taking appropriate actions to address any issues.
Evaluate capital expenditure and investment proposals, providing recommendations to Management and the Board of Directors.
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and other professionals on treasury and financial matters.
Job Requirements
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification from a recognized accounting body.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within the property industry.
Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, interpersonal abilities, and effective communication and management at all organizational levels.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Exhibit high integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Preferably experienced in the property development industry, corporate finance, including fundraising, negotiating, and arranging financing facilities.
Knowledge of Bursa Listing Requirements and/or experience with listed companies is advantageous.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Strong proficiency in the English language
