PR/158134 | Senior Electrical Engineer (Electric Power Transmission)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

A Local Conglomerate that has quickly risen to prominence with a diversified business specialization in Infrastructure and Electric Power Transmission projects. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing high-voltage electrical systems for distribution by selecting appropriate electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and generators and ensure proper integration of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

• Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet the required performance standards.

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to maintain electrical system longevity and reliability while identifying electrical system faults to reduce downtime.

• Plan and manage electrical engineering projects, including budget estimation, resource allocation, timeline management and vendors

• Ensure safety protocols for high-voltage equipment are established and enforced.

• Ensure electrical systems meet local and international regulations and standards.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including electrical diagrams, specifications, and reports.

• Communicate project updates and technical information to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Electric Power Transmission project experience will be advantageous

• Able to speak Mandarin.
