Our client is a reputable petrochemical company located at Kuantan, Pahang. They are looking for EHS Manager to take on responsibilities related to safety, health and environmental practices at their factory.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines and local regulations.
Assess environmental health and safety risks, opportunities and impacts, standards and regulations and advise on potential impacts stakeholders
Implement programs and processes in alignment with the environmental health and safety regulatory of government, International Standard Organization (ISO) management system and corporate guidelines
Deliver environmental health and safety activities, including emergency response plan, incident and accident management, training implementation and evacuation drill
Participate and support regular environmental health and safety audits and certification program in compliance with established standards
Handle environmental health and safety related records and reporting
Job Requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of working experience in EHS Management in manufacturing environment
Registered Safety and Health Officer (with green book) with DOSH
Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, including implementation and auditing
Knowledge of chemical processing activities is an added advantage
Ability to drive change, promote teamwork, build trust & respect
Willing to be based at Kuantan, Pahang
