Our client, an MNC in the Construction/Engineering industry, are looking to set up their regional HQ in Singapore. This position will serve as part of the regional team and hands-on work will be expected.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in the area of construction matters.
Provide contractual advisory to ensure compliance with contract obligations and procedures.
Manage and mitigate legal risks and ensure that significant issues are recognised and addressed.
Design and implement company policies and procedures on a regional basis
Liaising and collaborating effectively with other departments.
Resolve disputes on contractual matters amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
LLB required
At least 7 years of experience, particularly in contractual matters or in a construction or engineering MNC
Well versed in local regulations and compliances. Regional experience will be a bonus
Possess strong personal & negotiation skills and leadership qualities
Good experience in handling construction disputes
